Right Wing Hijacks Radio: GOP Wins!

Think radio doesn't matter?  Think again!

Compare these maps representing numbers and sizes of  "Conservative"
"Right Wing" radio stations and "Liberal" radio stations across the USA:

Then look at a map of the 2010 Midterm Election Results:

About 50 million Americans listen to Right Wing Talk Radio.

Now here's the SCARY part:
Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity have far more reach on Radio than Fox News.
You won't believe it until you
See These Charts!

Radio is still the country's number one source of news and information,
but fewer than 10% of the country is able to hear any progressive talk radio.
Those who do tend to vote for more Democrats than those who do not.

  2. Yep, they have their billions, but we have - US! It's time we stand together and take back what's ours - the public airwaves.

What can we do about it? Read this. Follow the links. http://www.suewilsonreports.com/2010/10/why-did-donna-brazile-use-f-word-in.html

Prepare to get angry. And inspired. And ready.

  3. The propaganda power of Reich-wing radio is so insidious and destructive. The vile hate misinformation, disinformation, and outright lies are like a cancer.

I would like to see the 2007 study updated. I doubt there has been much liberal penetration even with the success of Hartmann, Schultz, and other hosts.

How can major markets such as Houston, Salt Lake,Okla City, Memphis, ect not have a single day timer outlet, but 5 sports stations, 10 rapture right praise Jeeezzzus stations, and 3 right-wing Limpbaughs wannabes?

  4. Sue, I look forward to more of your work. I am on the East Coast near Boston. Yes we are liberal, but the airwaves are not. We have small radio stations to large ones all with the same conservative message 24/7.

I am making inroads within the talk radio realm. I am a weekly guest on a conservative show. Kind of acting like the Alan Colmes of Fox News.

Keep up the fight on the West Coast!

  5. Blah blah blah. If people weren't listening to conservative talk radio then there would be no advertising dollars to support the shows that are on. Your problem is that people listen to and relate to the message. Put on a quality show that people want to listen to and it will be successful. Put on a crappy show that nobody listens to, and it leads to pathetic losers like you all trying to stifle free speech. You people are sickening.

  6. Yes, the song at the end of the movie trailer says "democracy's at stake..." But the United States is a republic. You crazies want to turn it into a democracy.
